Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Tagdilt

Depart Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka pass to Ouarzazate, then continue to Tagdilt, a small Berber village at the foot of the Saghrou. Here you meet your mule team and spend the first night camping.

Day 2: Tagdilt – Almou n’Ouarg (2,300m)

Your trek begins across rocky plateaus and wide valleys. Gradually climb towards Almou n’Ouarg, where you set up camp in the high pastures surrounded by peaceful mountain views.

Highlight: Remote trails & wild camping under the stars.

Day 3: Almou – Kouaouch Summit (2,592m) – Igli

Climb the summit of Kouaouch for panoramic views across the Anti-Atlas and distant Sahara, then descend through volcanic ridges to reach Igli for overnight camp.

Day 4: Igli – Bab n’Ali

Trek through valleys and rocky plateaus towards the breathtaking cliffs and twin towers of Bab n’Ali, one of the highlights of the Saghrou massif. Camp nearby under the night sky.

Day 5: Bab n’Ali – Handour
