Day 1: Imlil (1,740m) → Amsakrou via Tizi n’Tamatert (2,279m)

Your trek begins in Imlil, the gateway to the Toubkal region. The trail climbs gradually through juniper and pine forests to the panoramic Tizi n’Tamatert pass (2,279m), with stunning views over the Imnan and Imlil valleys. After a traditional Berber lunch in Tinghron village, continue through terraced fields and stone hamlets until reaching Amsakrou, where you’ll spend the night in a family-run guesthouse.
