Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Atlas Mountains
Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our driver and transferred to the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the scenic drive through traditional Berber villages and mountain landscapes.
Overnight in a charming guesthouse surrounded by nature.
Day 2: Imlil – Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m)
After breakfast, meet your mountain guide and begin your trek towards the Toubkal Refuge. The route passes through beautiful Berber villages, walnut groves, and mountain streams. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way before reaching the refuge at the foot of Mount Toubkal.
Overnight at Toubkal Refuge.
Day 3: Toubkal Summit (4,167 m) – Imlil Valley
Start early to climb North Africa’s highest peak, Mount Toubkal. From the summit, admire panoramic views over the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara in the distance. After the descent, return to Imlil for a well-deserved rest.
Overnight in a cozy guesthouse in Imlil.
Day 4: Imlil – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges
After breakfast, depart towards the south through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” then follow the road to the stunning Dades Gorges.
Dinner and overnight in a hotel overlooking the gorge.
Day 5: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzou
Today’s journey takes you through the dramatic Todra Gorges before continuing across the desert landscapes to Merzouga, at the edge of the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride and witness the magical desert sunset.
Dinner and overnight in a desert camp under the stars.
Day 6: Merzouga – Agdz – Ait Ben Haddou
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes, then travel through the Draa Valley and the palm groves of Agdz. Continue to the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its mudbrick architecture.
Overnight in a traditional guesthouse in the old villag
Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou – Kasbah Telouet – Marrakech
After breakfast, drive through the scenic Ounila Valley to visit the Kasbah of Telouet, once the residence of the Glaoui family. Continue across the High Atlas to reach Marrakech in the afternoon.
Overnight in a riad or hotel in Marrakech.
Day 8: Marrakech – Airport Transfer
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens.
