Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Skoura (via Tizi n’Tichka, Telouet & Ait Ben Haddou)

Depart Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Visit Telouet Kasbah and continue to the UNESCO village of Ait Ben Haddou for lunch. Drive to Skoura for overnight.

Day 2: Skoura – Tinghir (via Kelaat Mgouna, Boutghrar & Nomads)

Visit the famous Kasbah Amridil before driving through the Valley of Roses. Continue via Boutghrar to meet nomad families and enjoy a picnic lunch. Arrive in Tinghir and, if possible, continue towards the Dades Gorges. Overnight in Tinghir.

Day 3: Tinghir – Nkob (via Todra Gorge & Jebel Saghro)

Start the day with a walk in the Todra Gorge, then drive towards Nkob through the volcanic landscapes of Jebel Saghro. Share a picnic lunch with a nomad family at Tizi n’Tazazert. Stop at Bab n’Ali rock formations before overnight in Nkob.

Day 4: Nkob – Oulad Driss (via Zagora & Tamgroute)

Enjoy a morning walk in Nkob’s oasis before driving through the Draa Valley. Visit the traditional ceramic workshops of Tamgroute and have lunch in Zagora. Continue to Oulad Driss for overnight.

Day 5: Oulad Driss – Erg Chigaga Desert

Journey off-road by 4×4 into the Sahara, stopping to visit nomad families along the way. Picnic lunch in Oum Laalag. Continue to Erg Chigaga dunes for camel ride at sunset, dinner, and Berber music around the fire. Overnight in desert camp.

Day 6: Erg Chigaga – Oasis Fint (via Iriki Lake & Foum Zguid)

Watch the sunrise over the dunes before driving across the Iriki dry lake. Lunch in Foum Zguid, then continue to the peaceful Oasis of Fint near Ouarzazate. Overnight in oasis guesthouse.

Day 7: Oasis Fint – Imlil (via Ouarzazate & Tizi n’Tichka)

Drive back across the Atlas Mountains via Ouarzazate and the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Lunch in Taddert village before continuing to Imlil, a small Berber town in the High Atlas. Overnight in Imlil.

Day 8: Full Day Hike in Imlil

Enjoy a guided hike through Berber villages and valleys around Imlil. Picnic lunch in nature with stunning mountain views. Overnight in Imlil.

Day 9: Imlil – Marrakech (via Kik Plateau)

After breakfast, drive back to Marrakech via the scenic Kik Plateau. End of the trip.
