Itinerary
Day 1 : Marrakech – Telouet – Aït Benhaddou
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Stop in the mountain village of Telouet to visit the historic Kasbah of the Glaoui, once the palace of Morocco’s powerful rulers. Continue through the colorful Ounila Valley before arriving at Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its mudbrick architecture and movie appearances (Gladiator, Game of Thrones). Dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse overlooking the ksar.
Day 2 : Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley – Tinghir
After breakfast, drive to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” and visit the Atlas Film Studios. Continue to Skoura Oasis to explore palm groves and the Valley of Roses, where rosewater products are made. After lunch in the dramatic Dades Gorges, travel through spectacular mountain scenery before reaching Tinghir, a charming town near the Todgha Gorges. Overnight in a riad or guesthouse.
Day 3 : Tinghir – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi)
Take a morning walk in the Todgha Gorges, where 300 m cliffs tower above the valley floor. Visit a Berber carpet cooperative to learn about weaving traditions, then continue through desert towns to discover the ancient Khattarat underground irrigation system. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where camels await to take you across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a sunset camel trek, dinner, live music, and a night under the stars in a desert camp.
Day 4 : Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Agdz (Draa Valley)
Wake early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, visit the town of Rissani, the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty, and its traditional market. Continue to Alnif for lunch and stop at a fossil workshop along the way. In the afternoon, drive through striking desert landscapes toward Agdz, an oasis town in the Draa Valley lined with palm groves and kasbahs. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 5 : Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, travel along the Draa Valley, one of Morocco’s most picturesque palm-filled valleys. Retrace your route via Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains, arriving back in Marrakech by late afternoon.

What Our Customers Say
"We completed a 2-day trek with Mustapha, and I highly recommend him as a guide. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. He is a very kind and welcoming person, with a great personality. He kept a comfortable pace, gave us plenty of rest breaks, and made sure we safely reached the summit. 100% recommended for anyone looking for a safe, enjoyable, and authentic trekking experience."
"Houssain was a wonderful guide who took us safely at a comfortable pace up Talamrout. We enjoyed walking through traditional villages before climbing above Tizi n'Tamatert to reach the summit. The final section involved a bit of scrambling, which was the most fun part of the hike! Houssain prepared a lovely picnic lunch at the pass. He is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and very professional. Highly recommended!"
"My friend and I were picked up by Houssain and his driver in Marrakech and started our journey towards the Atlas Mountains. Houssain is a polite and considerate guide who explained the history and culture of every place we visited. We had lunch in his village at his home, prepared by his family, who were incredibly welcoming and kind. I highly recommend Houssain — he is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and truly passionate about what he does. I will definitely come back one day!"
"My friend and I had the most wonderful day with Mustapha. As two ladies, we were still able to enjoy a fantastic trek up to around 1800 meters — thanks to Mustapha's patience and support throughout the day. He is a wonderful guide: polite, patient, kind, and truly attentive. We visited his family guesthouse and met his mother, who welcomed us with incredible warmth and prepared one of the best meals we've had since arriving in Marrakech. This was truly the highlight of our trip. We 100% recommend this experience!"
"Houssain nous a accompagnés pendant 4 jours de trek avec une parfaite connaissance de la région, une excellente capacité d'adaptation et une grande attention portée au rythme de chacun. La soirée passée chez une famille berbère a été un moment très riche en partage et en humanité. Nous recommandons vivement! Whether it's a trek in the Atlas or the desert according to the season, you have found your guide!"
