Itinerary
Day 1 : Marrakech → Imi Oughlad (1,400m) → Tizi n’Tacht (2,020m) → Tizzian (1,800m)
After breakfast in your Marrakech hotel, we’ll pick you up and drive towards the High Atlas via the towns of Tahnaout and Asni. At Imi Oughlad (1,400m), meet your trekking team and enjoy a welcome cup of tea before starting the hike.
The trail climbs gradually through juniper forests to the Tizi n’Tacht pass (2,020m), where lunch is prepared by your cook. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Azzaden Valley and Tazaghart Peak. After lunch, continue down into the valley to reach Tizzian village, where you’ll spend the night in a local guesthouse.

Day 2 : Tizzian → Tizi n’Tkhrkhort (2,500m) → Tizgui n’Tkent
Today’s trek begins with a steady ascent through forests and traditional grazing areas where you might see goats climbing the juniper trees. Pause for lunch in the shade of walnut trees near Islan before continuing your journey.
The trail leads up to the Tizi n’Tkhrkhort pass (2,500m) before descending into the quiet village of Tizgui n’Tkent, where you’ll spend the night in a Berber guesthouse.

Day 3 : Tizgui n’Tkent → Tizi n’Tagdalt (2,800m) → Tizi Oussem
After breakfast, follow the trail toward Azib Agouns Nousoul, a summer grazing area and farming hub for local families. Continue climbing to the trek’s highest point, the Tizi n’Tagdalt pass (2,800m), located at the foothill of the Tazaghart Plateau. Stop here for a break and photos with spectacular views of the “Red Valley” of Azzaden.
Descend to Arou, a riverside spot where lunch is served, before continuing on to the welcoming village of Tizi Oussem for the night.

Day 4 : Tizi Oussem → Tizi n’Mzik (2,489m) → Imlil Valley (1,740m)
Today, climb steadily through juniper forests to the Tizi n’Mzik pass (2,489m), where you’ll enjoy sweeping views over both the Azzaden and Imlil valleys, with Mount Aksoual in sight. Lunch is served at the top before descending through the villages of Azib Berdoun and Mzik, finally arriving in Imlil Valley. Overnight in a guesthouse in Imlil.

Day 5 : Free Day in Imlil Valley → Transfer to Marrakech
Enjoy a relaxed day exploring the Imlil Valley, walking along rivers and terraced fields, and having a picnic lunch in the green heart of the valley. In the afternoon, transfer back to Marrakech where your trek ends.
